As Engineering Manager at Atrium, you’ll have an opportunity to shape Atrium’s development processes, technical architecture, and teams, enabling us to rapidly scale as we provide exceptional software and services used by our lawyers and clients.


    • Manage and mentor engineers and teams, enabling them to make sound architecture and process decisions
    • Manage technical projects that spans across multiple engineering teams
    • Master different facets of Atrium’s business, working closely with heads of engineering, product, data, and legal, as well as company executives to develop technical and business strategy
    • Establish and enhance processes that enable engineering teams to execute on priorities
    • Optimize processes, ensure commitments stay on track, remove roadblocks, and facilitate fast execution and timely decision-making
    • Help build and scale a world class engineering team

What You Need to be Successful

    • A passion for empowering engineers, building engineering teams, and aligning technical and business goals
    • 7+ years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years experience in engineering management
    • Expert-level technical skill, primarily around the architecture of scalable software and systems
    • Comfort working in a polyglot technical environment consisting of Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and AWS
    • Familiarity with Scrum and agile development practices
    • Familiarity with DevOps and information security best practices
