Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Own project schedules and drive deliverables to completion on time and within budget
  • Ensure acceptance criteria in user stories are clear and concise
  • Successfully partner with engineers to quickly and efficiently release products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and features
  • Manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities
  • Define and report on program development process status, issues and success metrics
  • Work with team to estimate effort for tasks and manage resources accordingly
  • You will not only help teams be more efficient, you will see the big picture and ensure processes scale appropriately with the company
  • Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths
  • Mentor engineers in best practices for planning and execution
  • Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders
  • Assess and mitigate risk exposure
  • Initiate and drive planning activities, not limited to standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily triage
  • Manage multiple small and large scale projects concurrently
  • Manage project expectations ensuring risk, resource allocation, schedule, cross functional dependency
  • Be a communication powerhouse to ensure transparency and alignment for all stakeholders

 

 

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in technical program management role and 1 year experience managing remote teams at an established company overseeing software development
  • Experience shipping multiple products
  • Experience working in a fast-paced development environment
  • Experience in Agile software development
  • Experience managing a remote and onsite team with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to management.
  • Ability to drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams
