Senior Manager–Membership & Enrollment Marketing at Doctor on Demand

We are looking for a skilled Senior Manager content marketer to work in close collaboration with the Director of Patient Marketing to activate membership within our health plan channels and inform and execute the medical and mental health content and brand marketing strategies across our membership.  The Senior Marketing Manager will help to uncover key patient insights, while influencing the overall key patient messaging and brand positioning. In addition this individual will develop and manage the patient editorial marketing calendar, including leading the development content and creative development against key seasonal and brand campaigns..  The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing content strategies and working in partnership with marketing channel owners to execute content strategies and key brand campaigns. This individual will also be responsible for the development of content– working with internal and external creative resources, as well as contributing to content development in the form of copywriting, creative direction, and editing.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development of content used to enable enterprise clients (health plans and employers) to drive successful communication strategies and programs against their member and employee populations.  This includes collaborating with Account Management to to understand content needs and opportunities.

  • Work in partnership with account management to drive membership against our key health plan distribution channel through the execution of innovative marketing strategies across health plan channels. 

  • Responsible for campaign measurement and monitoring, including developing mechanisms to track performance and ability to analyze performance to uncover key insights and drivers.  

  • Develop a deep understanding of the patient– support ongoing research and draw out patient insights that can inform content and messaging strategy.  Track consumer health topics, competitor messaging and key patient health trends.

  • Work with Director of Patient Marketing to support the development of key messaging frameworks to reinforce brand and campaign positioning

  • Own and create patient marketing editorial calendar, anticipating all yearly events, holidays, product launches

  • Own development of key content marketing assets used cross channel, including ability to write copy and working in partnership with design resources to develop content.  

  • Partner with key team members and marketing channel owners to: develop campaign concepts, design & creative execution, campaign messaging, development of content needed cross channel including paid, email, enterprise and web.

  • Partner with email channel owner to align email plan against patient editorial calendar and content

  • Partner with paid marketing manager to ensure messaging and creative used within paid channels is aligned to content strategy

Experience Required:

  • 3-7 years of demonstrated success in marketing at a top branding agency, advertising agency, or within a leading consumer brand

  • Exposure and understanding of basic messaging and brand positioning principles and frameworks

  • Exceptional writing, editing, creative, communication, and leadership skills.  Artful with words, and passionate about creating compelling patient-centric stories.  Strong portfolio of writing samples.

  • Basic understanding of mobile marketing, including measurement and analysis.

  • Knowledge of SEO principles as it relates to content development

  • Possess outstanding work ethic, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time

  • A self-starter, able to take ownership and responsibility for projects. Anticipates problems and rolls up sleeves to foresee problems, tackle large projects and get things done

  • Team player who can work collaboratively across marketing team and company
