Nextdoor is looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join our revenue team and be the primary owner of revenue metrics and business insights for the real estate revenue team. You should be passionate about finding insights in large datasets, synthesizing and communicating results, and driving practical business impact. This team will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations and Data Science.    We are a collaborative team obsessed with client success and problem solving.

  • Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story or cohesive narrative focused on insights, not just data
  • Define, understand and measure the metrics of our business in a scalable manner
  • Develop dashboards to analyze and monitor the key metrics  
  • Conduct in-depth analyses with datasets from our campaign tests and real estate partners
  • Write and interpret complex SQL queries for test results, audience selection, marketing optimization, as well as ad hoc data analyses
  • Partner with the Data Science and Product teams to develop improvements and, more importantly, distill business strategies from the results
  • Communicate results of new initiatives to executives
  • Willingness and ability to learn new statistical methods and programming languages
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry developments, sharing insights with our team and company on a regular basis.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and appetite to learn more


  • 1+ years of business or financial analyst experience required
  • Expertise in Excel, SQL and Tableau
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly and effectively synthesize ideas and reports into actionable recommendations for internal teams and external partners
  • Proven success in a cross-functional role, where you worked closely with business strategy, operations, and sales teams   
  • Analytically creative – able to see and manipulate data to derive insights
  • Comfort engaging with all levels, including senior executives
