We’re looking for a passionate, results oriented, and experienced Non-Technical Recruiter to join us in building the team here at Nextdoor. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and have a passion for hiring on quality and building long-standing relationships in the industry. 

What you'll do in the role: 

  • Full-cycle recruitment for a range of non-technical positions, including - with an emphasis on Sales and Marketing
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers to: assess recruiting needs, understand job requirements, and develop job descriptions for each position; and tailor/refine recruitment process as-needed
  • Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative and effective sourcing strategies
  • Source, screen and evaluate candidates’ backgrounds, qualifications, and general culture fit for Nextdoor
  • Track candidates through Greenhouse ATS for reporting and metrics
  • Engage, contact, and manage candidate experience throughout recruitment process, through close and pre-start
  • Close: effectively, creatively and competitively
  • Effectively communicate the Nextdoor mission, culture and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects and industry professionals

What we're looking for: 

  • 3+ years experience full-cycle recruitment for a consumer facing technology company
  • Proven track record of hiring exceptional candidates across multiple disciplines
  • Passion for the Nextdoor mission and vision
  • Extremely strong organizational, presentation and selling skills
  • Excellent communication: written, oral, in-person and on the phone
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • BA/BS degree
  • Bonus points for previous experience with sales recruiting
