This position plays the key role of managing and supporting Tonal’s product shipments and fulfillments to meet customer requirements.  The responsibilities mainly cover from shipping of products, managing of inventory, warehouse storage, to delivery of orders at the warehouse locations.  

What You Will Do
Shipping and Freight Management
  • Work with forwarders to track and report status of all inbounds shipments of product inventory 
  • Evaluating shipping and freight performance, strive to achieve best cost and efficiency while meeting requirements 
  • Support the effective use of various transportation and delivery services of products when needed 
  • Work with brokers or shipping providers to resolve any customs or regulatory issues

Inventory Management
  • Maintain inventory record and manage inventory transaction based on sales orders or product requests
  • Work with 3PL warehouses to ensure accuracy of inventory update and tracking by system and processes
  • Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure integrity of inventory.  Partner with the Operations team on continue improvements related to production and doc control
  • Ensure proper rotation of inventory, ensure following of inventory control guidelines, and participate in obsolesces management and EOL implementation

Warehouse and Fulfillment 
  • Serve as primary contact between customer service team and 3PL warehouse in sales orders support and issues resolution
  • Manage 3PL warehouse in accurate and efficiency processing of sales orders pick-up and reporting
  • Assist in developing processes to support order fulfillment and supervise the implementation of them 

Who You Are
  • BS Degree in IE, OR, or Business Management.  MBA is a plus. 
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience 
  • Ability to map and optimize logistics operations through Operation Research NETWORK modeling
  • At least 5 years working in a manufacturing industry (tech or electrical manufacturing preferred) with responsibilities in the supply chain and operations areas
  • Experienced in inventory management, supply planning, shipping operations, and suppliers management
  • Proficient with Excel, intensive user experience in ERP, MRP, or any warehouse/inventory database management system
  • Solid communication and analytical skills.  Willing to work with customer service and logistics partners to resolve problems efficiently and effectively 
  • Proven organization skill and attention to details, result oriented and work independently
  • Able to travel regionally to 3PL partner locations.  Not more than 25% travel annually
