This Sr. Manager, Post-Manufacturing Engineering will lead the post-manufacturing support of Tonal products.  You excel at ensuring serviced product reliability and material velocity and are adept at service efficiency management through outsourced partners.

What You Will Do
  • Manage outsourced service operations, including module fabricators and return/refresh/upgrade services
  • Own Design For Service, R-BOM, and test implementation throughout entire service supply chain
  • Drive quality and reliability improvement with systematic methods – SPC, DOE, 8D, etc.
  • Improve efficiency and reduce waste through common processes
  • Leverage technology to help scale the operations
  • Determine current and future equipment needs to allow for increased production volume and quality enhancements for the efficient production of both current and new products
  • Publish manufacturing metrics to the management team and manufacturing department
  • Able to build and manage a lean team to support the needs of the business
Who You Are
  • 10+ years of in-house and outsourced consumer electronics manufacturing experience
  • BS Degree in ME, IE, EE, business or similar.  MBA is a plus
  • Experience in EMS/ODM and P&L ownership is a plus
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical fabrication, assembly, and test operations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Asia supply chains
  • Experience within a hyper-growth startup preferred 
  • Spreadsheet, PLM and ERP system
  • Must be able to apply statistics, capacity planning, and time-motion study  
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Experience with strategic projects and analysis

  • Working knowledge of Mandarin desirable
