External Alliance Manager at RDMD

RDMD is looking for a scientist with project management experience to support RDMD’s external research collaborations and alliances. You will work closely with the CEO to drive execution, support ongoing partnerships, and cultivate new opportunities to work with various academic collaborators, nonprofits, and pharmaceutical companies.

Support identification of new partnering opportunities with key stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, nonprofits, and industry partners.

• Prepare innovative proposals for potential partners that drive value for both parties.

• Develop and manage logistics for all research alliances and projects, ranging from academic labs to nonprofits to pharmaceutical companies; hold face-to-face meetings.

• Act as an internal clinical research domain expert, and through that lens, contribute to the planning, development and execution of clinical research initiatives.

Requirements


MS or PhD in Biology, Neurology, Genetics, or related life sciences field.

• Demonstrated experience managing external collaborations with clinicians, academic lab, and/or pharma partners.Excellent written, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Endlessly resourceful, proactive, and self-driven with strong desire to work in a high-energy, team-based startup environment.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to timelines.

• Ability to translate scientific and technical subject matter into concise, clear communications that are understood by technical and non-technical leaders and constituents.

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay area to work in person. Relocation assistance available.
