The Role & Team
You will effectively develop and implement Canva’s Global Sales Strategy (and Go-To-Market plan), whilst also managing our Customer Success team, helping to drive Sales across SMB & Enterprise clients. As you can see, we are looking for someone to wear multiple hats at once so a background in Sales, Strategy & Operations is a strong preference.
You will sit in the wider Enterprise ("Teams & Pro") organisation. Their goals are to:  
- Launch new features that not only delight our user base but solve their businesses’ biggest problems.
- Design and launch growth experiments that move the needle on metrics that matter to us as a business.
- Not only supporting our bigger accounts to do more with Canva, but creating new relationships and connecting with sales leads.
- Figuring out how Canva can become the design solution of choice for every business across the globe.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strategist: Someone who has done their homework, can jump in and define the ideal initial customer segment for our Large Teams product.
  • A customer-centric thinker: Developing user segmentation strategies that enable Canva to go-to-market (GTM).
  • A product evangelist: You have a sharp intuition for customer needs and will guide our product teams in defining and creating the best business design product on the market.
  • A natural leader: You will develop and coordinate our Customer Success team to both successfully implement our Sales strategy and delight our high-value clients.
  • An experienced seller: You are able to build and cultivate strong client relationships. You relish the opportunity to jump on sales calls and have a proven history of hitting sales targets.
  • A process driven optimiser: You will originate clever strategies in order to create automation for the Large Teams growth. You will implement sales processes including self-serve paths, lead generation, account support and reporting.
  • An overachiever: You are motivated by what you do and will continuously raise the bar—ramping up sales success and constantly surpassing goals.

You'll love this job if:

  • You have spent 4+ years defining and leading Growth & Monetisation strategies in other high-performing SaaS companies.
  • You have experience scaling SMB and Enterprise at high-growth companies.
  • You have previously played a key role in helping a digital product team move up-market and attract larger customers.
  • You enjoy working alongside and leading a sales function by example— building and cultivating client relationships through personalized contact, understanding of client’s needs, and ability to build out sophisticated solutions for our clients.
