About the Role

We have a ton of really interesting projects to work on - from cutting edge computer vision, sales optimization and threat detection to just handling really Big Data. Our tables receive over 60 million events per month from over 185 countries. These events are fascinating to aggregate and analyze so we can optimize the product, blog and sales team.



  • 2+ years of experience using Python
  • 2+ years experience writing SQL
  • AWS Familiarity
  • Version control (git/github)
  • Web scraping
  • Familiarity with implementing machine learning models (logistic regressions, neural nets, decision trees)
  • Experience interacting with 3rd party APIs
  • Design automated solutions for building, monitoring and deploying systems and pipelines (through Docker, Datadog, CircleCI)



  • Familiarity with Postgres internals / tuning
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Segment, Intercom, Autopilot and/or Looker
  • Familiarity with Stripe, Drift, Zapier
  • Familiarity with Spam detection
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Luigi, Airflow
  • Familiarity with Computer Vision (either from scratch or with AWS Rekognition, Azure, Clarifai etc)



  • Developing, deploying and monitoring data pipelines and machine learning systems
  • Researching novel ways to analyze our datasets to improve workflows across all teams
  • Maintaining existing internal tools and pipelines
  • Site reliability - responding to error alerts and potential threats in a timely manner. If part of our analytics stack goes down, you may be required outside of normal office hours to be “on call” via pagerduty and resolve the issue.
