Imperfect is a produce delivery startup on a mission to reduce food waste and to make fresh produce more affordable, accessible, and convenient. We source produce directly from farms, which would otherwise go to waste, and deliver it to customers' doors for an average of 30% less than grocery store prices. Since our start in 2015, our customers have saved millions of pounds of produce from going to waste.

About the Role:
 
Imperfect Produce is looking for reliable, energetic, and ambitious Brand Ambassadors to add to our Outreach Department! Your main objective: sign up new customers! As a Brand Ambassador, you are our "boots on the ground" representative! You'll be responsible for acquiring new Imperfect subscribers in the field. If you have a passion for what we do, an outstanding personality and are hungry to make sales - we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

    • Sign up new customers to try our produce delivery service
    • Host promotional tables at our local events in high-traffic areas (e.g. parks/city blocks)
    • Set your own schedule to meet monthly sales goals
    • Be a spectacular representative of our brand!

Qualifications:

    • 1+ year experience in customer facing sales role
    • Resourceful & Ambitious - you can think on your feet; you're goal oriented and numbers driven
    • Highly Driven & Energetic - you're motivated to get out there and make it happen
    • Basic produce knowledge
    • Knowledge of sustainability and food waste is a plus

Details of the Position:

    • Personal transportation required
    • Compensation is commission-based and will be determined by the number of customers signed up
