Nextdoor’s Sales team partners with national brands to connect them with our high value members across the United States through our native advertising product, Sponsored Posts.  You will develop and build a pipeline and drive new business through the full sales cycle (from prospecting to closing). To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of brand storytelling, experience with social, digital and native advertising, and an extensive network of national and regional brands. You are ambitious and thrive in a startup environment, with a demonstrated ability to build detailed sales and revenue generation plans, while also being able to roll up your sleeves and execute tactically.  If this sounds like you, come join our 'hood!


  • Lead and coach a team of experienced Client Partners. The Client Partners are based in NYC and Atlanta.
  • Deliver on quarterly revenue and productivity targets
  • Lead quarterly and annual business planning and forecasting for the Eastern region.
  • Be an expert on Nextdoor’s advertising products and the needs of marketers. Help align the needs of customers with our product features and provide feedback on product-market fit to help inform our product strategy
  • Rigorously prioritize team activities to maximize business impact, lead quarterly account planning and ensure that team and individual KPIs are being met
  • Contribute to customer relationship building and high opportunity sales efforts, including owning some C-level strategic relationships
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, and Product


  • 10+ years of experience in sales. 3+ in sales leadership roles
  • Passion for helping businesses grow through digital advertising
  • Experience running large scale advertising partnerships, including the pre and post sales strategy
  • Extensive knowledge of digital and mobile marketing, including direct response and lead generation tactics
  • Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and operating in a fast paced high growth environment
  • A great communicator with a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
