Summary of the Stance Executive Assistant:

The mission of the Executive Assistant is to work directly with the Chief Product Officer of Stance to ensure all professional matters are organized, expedited, and optimized effectively.

This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

As a Stance Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department. 
  • Create and develop visual presentations for the Chief Product Officer.
  • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.
  • Sorts and distributes mail. Opens mail for the CPO. Drafts written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information
  • Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEOs, President and COOs, and Chiefs. Handles confidential and non-routine information
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects, at the request of the CPO, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, creating brochures.
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Process CPO’s monthly expense report in a timely manner
  • Other miscellaneous projects as assigned by the CPO

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Detail oriented – Demands accuracy of smallest details.
  • Self-aware - Ability to clearly recognize and understand one’s own personality, traits, performance, and behavior.
  • Organized – Consistent commitment to accurate records, calendars, etc.
  • Responsible – Will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Recognizes mistakes and takes accountability. Sees problems as opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Honest – Takes pride in their integrity. Is someone that is highly trusted by others.  Keeps confidential information private.
  • Optimistic – Stays positive in demanding environments. Looks for the good in situations and in others. 5+ years in operations or as an assistant
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills; particularly Excel
  • Experience in Keynote and Photoshop a plus
  • Willingness to work late and on weekends as needed
