Description
The Pill Club is expanding, and looking for an experienced Reimbursement Associate. You will be part of the Billing Operations team that is responsible for maximizing revenue. This team is integral to our success, as almost every dollar that flows into the Company does so through this team. This team interacts with health insurers to secure coverage and reimbursement for our patients.  As an operational team, we are on the constant lookout to improve processes and workflows, while maintaining steady revenue streams. The result of our work is an innovative, flexible, highly scaleable billing operations in a fun, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

    • Work with a tight-knit team in a fun environment
    • Support reimbursement, billing, and reconciliation activities
    • Use your investigative skills in collaboration with a team to identify trends and influence decisions
    • Supporting the standardization of financial information systems, reporting tools, policies and procedures across the Billing Operations
    • Manage incoming correspondence from health insurers
    • Correctly interpret EOB’s for follow-up and/or appeals
    • Pending performance: other responsibilities may expand to making inquiries to health insurers, managing and recording data, and general assistance with the billing process
    • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves to get things done
    • This role is a good foray into learning about health insurance billing operations, and offers hands-on opportunity to experience aspects of the process

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 1 year reimbursement experience

Desirable Qualifications:

    • Kareo Billing / PM software experience is a plus
