Job description
LeanData is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to build our content marketing strategy and execution. In this role, you will develop the strategy and content that will expand our company’s digital presence, brand awareness, while directly contributing to pipeline and revenue goals.
 
Key responsibilities include developing an editorial calendar and creating assets used to power a wide range of initiatives including demand generation, product marketing, brand awareness, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will establish a voice for LeanData’s blog and will turn it into a leading resource for Revenue Operations professionals and go-to-market strategies. 
 
As the Content Marketing Manager, you will:
  • Execute and maintain a best-in-class content strategy and execution machine across the entire customer buying journey from thought leadership to product overviews
  • Manage and create a rich content calendar that supports our lofty revenue goals with a strategic cadence of various types of content including blog posts, white papers, ebooks, reports, case studies, videos, webinars, ad copy, speaking sessions, etc., that are aligned to our buyer journey
  • Be LeanData’s editor-in-chief to ensure a cohesive brand voice across all deliverables
  • Spearhead our SEO strategy for all digital assets so our content can be found
  • Measure and optimize the effectiveness of our content by developing reporting, KPIs, and metrics for each content channel
 
The requirements and qualifications you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Excellent writer with 4 years of related marketing experience
  • Superior editorial, communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
  • Mastery in creating a wide range of marketing assets 
  • Proven track record of leveraging in-house subject matter experts as well as creating assets directly
  • Creative thinker with out-of-the-box ideas to continually differentiate and stay ahead of market trends
  • Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and under tight deadlines
  • Experience in a start-up environment or in the B2B SaaS industry is preferred
