About the Role
 
We are currently seeking a part-time Office Coordinator in our centrally located Amsterdam Office. The Office Coordinator is committed to providing outstanding service while performing a wide variety of work assignments in a team environment. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, a desire to work independently, and help foster and build upon our amazing corporate culture. General duties include receptionist coverage, clerical and administrative support, and event planning. Other responsibilities include being a point of contact for facilities-related issues and providing light onsite IT support as needed. The Office Coordinator must have strong PC skills, be highly-organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Language command of both English and Dutch preferred.
 

Responsibilities

    • Greet & welcome guests in the office
    • Point of contact for all tasks, projects related to the office
    • Maintain inventory and stock kitchen and office supplies
    • Send and receive shipments and processing regular mail. Including for events (e.g. sending banner, swag to events)
    • Responsible for events such as unwinds, offsites, holiday parties, etc.
    • Prepare & decorate desks for new hires, as well as give a tour of the office to them
    • Responsible for keeping track, decorating desks, and purchasing gifts for employee birthdays and anniversaries
    • Assign culture buddies to new hires
    • Schedule, organize, and order lunches for monthly Big Talk lunches
    • Work with HR to implement quarterly volunteering & wellness events
    • Maintain an optimal work environment, including conference rooms and kitchen area clean
    • Coordinate & communicate about visitors from other offices
    • Communicate and schedule meetings with the executive team, when needed
    • Responsible for tracking & delivering corporate swag
    • Track expenses & budget
    • Work closely with other team members to assist on other projects and duties as assigned.
