Business Operations Associate at Color Genomics

The Business Operations Associate will focus on driving forward strategic bets and “hard problems” at Color. The role will help anticipate opportunities, solve issues, and own and execute programs critical to Color's mission and the company's short- and long-term growth. These opportunities and "hard problems" could include short-term operational questions, strategic initiatives and growth opportunities, or deal/partnership opportunities -- all critical to an evolving business model in a nascent market. The role will also help drive cross-functional execution on Color’s fast-evolving priorities and get things done across the business.
 
The role’s main areas of responsibilities will include: 
  • Structuring complex, ambiguous and challenging opportunities for Color and proactively setting execution against those opportunities in motion
  • Improving Color’s understanding of its business and growth opportunities through thoughtful analytics and data synthesis
  • Building consensus among cross-functional teams and influencing decisionmaking
  • Leading flawless execution on cross-functional projects
 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years+ of relevant work experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or core strategic operations
  • Highly analytical thinker who finds structure and logic in complex or confused situations
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Desire to push self and others to be their best
  • Entrepreneurial and bold in thinking and action
  • High EQ, with an ability to drive consensus and progress across functions and personalities
