Strategic Partnerships Manager at Color Genomics

We are transforming how entire populations receive access to critical health information, including their genetics, by removing financial, educational, technological, and geographic barriers. 
The Strategic Partnerships Lead will help Color build and scale transformative partnerships with leading companies globally, including pharmaceutical companies, diagnostics companies, large payers, pharmacy benefits managers, and national-level health systems and programs. The role will focus on how to dramatically accelerate Color’s business and enter new markets by sourcing, negotiating, launching, and growing a core, high-impact set of strategic partnerships.
The role’s main areas of responsibilities will include: 
  • Leading the development of Color’s partnership strategy with the market -- including our overall approach, core business cases for different segments and partners, and communications and materials for leadership discussions
  • Developing opportunities from zero to close -- sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing
  • Designing and leading partner implementations, including leading partner sales force training and coordinating marketing and other support
  • Working with Color’s leadership to build and maintain relationships, managing and leveraging the relationship through each stage of its life-cycle.
  • Providing thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication to our team and company on partnership strategy and initiatives
  • 10+ years in strategic business development
  • Strong communication skills: Able to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership internally and with partners 
  • Proactive & intellectually curious: Independently capable of seeking information, solving complex interpersonal or operational problems, persuading and aligning resources, and delivering results
