Anaplan is looking for new college graduates to join our paid Sales Development Internship program.  We are taking applications and will be interviewing in January for a target start date of February 4, 2019.

 

Are you thinking about a career in cloud software sales, but not sure if it’s for you? 

We are looking for energetic, persistent, relatively disciplined college graduates who love to win, love convincing people of new ideas, communicating through social media, email and the phone, and have a strong sense of time management.

 

This is a 6 month paid internship in which you will work closely with the Sales Development team, learning the ins and outs of what it takes to be a successful SDR in a fast moving, fast growing cloud software company.

 

At the end of the 6 month period we will determine if the SDR career path is something you would like to pursue.  Our desire is to convert our interns into full time employees on our SDR team with eventual career pathing into Sales, Marketing, Sales, Operations or Customer Success.

 

The SDR at Anaplan is typically the first voice a prospective Anaplan client will hear.  They deliver a message of an easier way to do business; planning, forecasting, modeling and budgeting.  SDRs follow-up on and create qualified leads, learn how to sell using Account Based Marketing techniques, build rapport, nurture relationships and schedule initial meetings and demonstrations for the direct sales force with enterprise companies around the world.

 

The SDR intern will support the SDR Team through:

  • Identifying accounts and the correct contacts within in our Target Market through research and reporting.
  • Research on social media and other internet sources to build and maintain our database of targeted accounts (Fortune 1000 and Mid-Market accounts) and contacts
  • Developing an understanding of Anaplan’s Platform, Target Markets and Value propositions
  • Facilitating alignment between sales and marketing for integrated sales plays and Account Based Marketing plans
  • Assisting in generating Marketing Analytics reporting on activity and pipeline generation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Previous experience in sales preferred
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Desire to explore a career in technology, software or cloud sales
