As a Records Clerk at Atrium, you will have the opportunity to manage the document stores of a modern law firm. Gone are the days dominated by physical records and paper filings. Today we generate and store all of our documents electronically and that calls for creative solutions to collecting documents across a host of storage platforms. You’ll collaborate with a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary group of lawyers, engineers and designers to improve law firm work procedures and create efficiencies in records keeping.

What would you be doing?

    • Act as the liaison between Atrium and the other law firms that we work with
    • Design and implement modern ways to store various types of files
    • Review and maintain corporate records for new and existing clients
    • Miscellaneous clerical tasks, such as scanning, photocopying, and filing documents
    • Become a subject matter expert for records technology built by Atrium
    • Provide support to the paralegal and attorney teams

What does success look like in this role?

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
    • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Passion for analyzing processes to improve efficiency and client experience; ability to effectively articulate their analysis to engineers
    • Prior experience working as part of a records team in a law firm or professional services company
    • The ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities
    • Ability to oversee the work of others and take on significant responsibility in a fast-moving organization
    • Experience working with Autonomy/FileSurf or similar records management software preferred
    • Prior experience working in or managing records at a corporate law firm is ideal, but not required
