Account Executive at LiveIntent

The Account Executive will be a key player in the internal workflow and client engagement, as well as driving post-sales initiatives such as up-selling, cross-selling and renewals. They should be comfortable driving client platform demos, performance reviews & kick off calls. Additionally, some of the responsibilities of this position are to educate the marketplace and close large deals; proving to the publishing community that LiveIntent is the marketing solution they needed but did not know was available. 

The role will report to the VP of Platform Sales and will need to work with the rest of the publisher sales team to be successful. This is a high visibility position that is empowering LiveIntent’s hyper-growth and domination of the inbox digital advertising space.

Acting as true solutions seller/consultant is critical to your success, both internally and externally. 

This position is responsible for the overall success of their accounts including planning, executing and monitoring. They will be required to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of LiveIntent’s platform, targeting capabilities, data solutions and possess an understanding of all LiveIntent’s components, tools, media placements, partners, ad inventory, audience demographics, reporting and rate cards.

Ideal candidates should be comfortable with client contact, communicating with executives and gently pushing back when necessary. This position works closely with an account team consisting of Sales Directors, Customer Success Managers and reports to the SVP, Core Sales. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day client support and engagement.
  • Own mature accounts and are responsible for keeping these clients stable and growing, up-selling, cross selling, and renewals of excising client base
  • Attend meetings related to specific accounts, identifying key action items and decisions
  • Manage and support client through platform on-boarding process
  • Platform demos and trainings, kick off calls, RFP support under Sales direction, and reporting
  • Coordinate client performance reviews & kick off calls with clients and account team
  • Communicate ad specifications and creative lead times to advertisers/agencies (provide any required documentation for creative delivery and set up)
  • Identify optimization opportunities for campaigns
  • Assist in implementation and troubleshooting of client campaign set ups
  • Identify and engage new opportunities based on proven success cases
  • Point person for billing discrepancies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of pre sales/sales support experience in digital media
  • Experience working with ad platforms such as DFP, DART, Mediavisor, or Atlas a plus
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Ability to drive client and exec level communications
  • Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines, able to juggle may tasks at once
  • Have exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • A general understanding of third party data, ad tags, and email Service providers (ESP) a plus.
