SendBird is headquartered in San Mateo, California and has an APAC office in Seoul, South Korea. This position is for the APAC Seoul office. 
As a Developer Advocate at SendBird, you will engage with the broader developer community and explain how SendBird's SDKs and API can empower their services. You'll be shaping the developer experience of our product and platform by authoring blog posts, writing clear documentation, and speaking at conferences.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Represent the external developer's view on our products to help prioritize the product roadmap accordingly
  • Engage with customers to support and understand their needs
  • Represent SendBird and its product offerings at various events
  • Advocate SendBird’s developer products in person and online by presenting at conferences, writing technical tutorials and API references, publishing articles and videos
  • Build inspiring demos, sample apps, and continuously improve the developer experience of our SDKs and API
  • Maintain a strong and credible presence in social media channels relevant to developers
Key Qualification
  • Relevant job experience as a Software Engineer or Developer Advocate
  • Communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Objective-C, Java, Swift, JavaScript, and Python
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
