Who you are: The Contract Recruiter is an exciting opportunity to develop and establish a small technical team for Spiceworks in India. This individual contributor role will support the Spiceworks People & Talent team to conduct recruitment for technical roles, manage the employee experience, and ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office and offering up new ideas and programs.

Your day-to-day: 

  • Drive recruitment efforts 
  • Sourceonline profiles, screen, and interview the brightest technology talent for our product and engineering organization 
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring mangersand partner with them to ensure quality candidate experience 
  • Oversee new hire onboarding experience
  • Ensure recruitment and personnel actions are complaint with local labor law
  • Manage the employee experience
  • Ensure employee policies and proceduresare adhered too and understood 
  • Administer or change benefits, health plans, retirement plans etc.
  • Assist and advise managers on coaching, counseling, and performance management
  • Attend to employee complaints and work to resolve conflicts
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed. 
  • Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws.
  • Nurture a positivecompany climate and culture 
  • Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed
  • Maintaina quality workplace environment  
  • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.) 
  • Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities. 



What does it take to do this job? 

  • 5+ years of technicalrecruiting and HR experience in a small, fast-paced environment  
  • Demonstrated skills in all aspects of recruiting such as networking, sourcingonline profiles, qualifying, screening, negotiating, and relationship management 
  • Proven success in partnering with leaders to establishand develop a technical team for an international company 
  • Conflict management resolution and employee relations mediation experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local labor laws
  • Previous experience building a successful business partner relationshipwith leaders to facilitate business needs 
  • Results-focused and team-oriented 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environment 
  • Superior oral and written communication skills - fluency in English is required
  • Awell organized and self-directed individual with analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus 
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
