At Starsky Robotics, we're working to make trucks autonomous on the highway and remote controlled by drivers for the first and last mile. Our trucks will make roads safer while giving drivers meaningful work close to their homes and families. We’re looking for an innovative and enthusiastic recruiter to own the hiring process end to end. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, scheduling, and creating a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our engineering positions.
 
Responsibilities:
 
- Own the recruiting process for Starsky Robotics’ technical teams in San Francisco
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
- Schedule candidate interviews and serve as the main liaison between the candidate and Starsky throughout the process
- Conduct weekly progress meetings with Founders
- Work closely with Starsky Hiring Leads to understand positions, team needs, and updating/creating job descriptions
- Act as the point of contact for all interview candidates, ushering them through the recruiting pipeline
- Act as the point of contact for hiring leads and interviewers; hone the interview process, manage on-sites, and lead candidate debriefs
- Continue the focus on building diverse and inclusive teams
- Own recruiting statistics for Starsky Robotics board meetings
- Develop and execute sourcing strategy for current and future needsExperience &
 
Skills:
 
- Demonstrated technical recruiting experience (in-house & agency)
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for engineering roles
- Experience in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment (startup experience preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels (web/social/referrals/professional networks, etc.)
- Proven knowledge of sourcing techniques + boolean
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
