Director of Value Insights at Anaplan

At Anaplan, we are looking to add a core member of our Anaplan’s Accelerate team- A Director of Value Insights. This individual will focus on continued and sustained growth of our value-based selling methods.  We will leverage this person’s strong background in operations, strategy and transformation, to help develop and enhance Anaplan’s Value Insights capabilities across our Global Teams, embedding repeatable processes and assets into the field organization to scale our expertise.

Our sales team is sharing our bold vision with companies around the world and helping them understand the power of Anaplan products. We partner with some of the world’s biggest brands, such as HP, Carters, and VMware, to unlock their full potential for success and to grow our business.

This individual will serve as a “Global Ambassador” of the Value Insights program and will enhance, sustain and govern our value based selling processes, tools and methods. They will work cross functionally with field organizations to provide expertise and lead practices to continuously improve the program. They will also work closely with our Anaplan Academy to build and enhance training materials.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, and own Value Insights strategy (aka “Value Engineering”) globally as part of the Anaplan’s Accelerate team
  • Create, brand and deliver a clear and repeatable process for Value, that maps to our Sales Process, indirectly leading and influencing sellers
  • Identify, qualify and integrate Value-Based Selling KPI’s into models regulary
  • Drive repeatable assets into the organization to scale and enhance deal expertise. You will further develop thought leadership around value engineering & quantification by integrating these principles into the negotiation strategies, synthesizing customer experiences into reusable content and methodologies
  • Collaborate with Presales, Sales and Customer Success to ensure consistency in execution

More about you:

  • 10+ years of Management or Technology Consulting and Sales experience with Business Applications
  • 3+ years of value-based selling and/or business case development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills; ability to tailor approch depending upon the maturity of the customer planning process, the audience, the industry or the line of business
  • Excellent modeling/analytical capabilities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to travel up to ~10%
