At Anaplan, we are looking for a PARTNER STRATEGY ADVISOR to join our Partner Organization in our San Francisco headquarters. The right individual will help develop and drive go-to-market and industry sales strategy. The position offers a unique opportunity for mid-level consultants to make the transition to a high growth, B2B SaaS company and apply their experience in a sales strategy capacity that has exposure to many functions in our organization to play an active role in helping shape Anaplan’s go to market strategy.

A well-suited candidate will come from a consulting or similar professionals services background, with experience in a generalist business consulting role while concentrating on strategy, quantitative analysis, value chain analysis, and/or operational planning. What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the analysis to support Anaplan’s strategic partner initiatives
  • Driving development of integrated business plan templates and process, including underlying logic and assumptions
  • Coordinating with regional Partner leaders about growing technical and sales capacity in-region
  • Coordinating with Academy team for Partner enablement-related workstreams
  • Driving pipeline of Partner enablement workshop attendance
  • Preparing benchmark analysis against peer partner programs, providing thoughtful feedback on advancing Anaplan program to be best-in-class
  • Establish strong working relationships across multiple functions – Partner Organization, Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Academy, Marketing, and Product teams to achieve the above objectives with limited managerial involvement
  • Lead and create analytical tools and processes to support the cross-functional input and data gathering needed to drive capacity growth

You have:

  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering (all types)
  • 2-3 years in SaaS finance, operations, or ‘BizOps’ type function, and
  • 3-5 years in Associate or Consultant roles at management consulting, investment banking, or venture capital
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills
  • Experience as a strategic consultant or strong knowledge in process flows or the planning and analytics market.

  • Exposure to Anaplan’s software
  • Fast learner, self-starter, and problem solver
  • Exposure to standard sales operations and SaaS metrics (i.e., NNACV, CAC, ratios, roles etc.)
  • Experience and comfort working in an Agile environment
