Overview
 
As a founding member of Tonal’s Inside Sales team, this role is focused on achieving and growing measurable sales results from an existing customer database and inbound leads. The Director of Inside Sales will educate and skillfully guide customers through the Tonal buying experience while ensuring the highest level of quality, customer care, and integrity. This person needs to be is a self-starter and bring a high level of energy and passion for sales.

Ideal candidate possesses superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build a strong awareness and understanding of Tonal’s customers. This person should have an understanding of the fitness industry and the ability to effectively communicate Tonal's differentiated offering through education and inspiration.

What You Will Do
 
  • Drive the creation and optimization of the Tonal sales methodology
  • Hire, train and manage inside sales representatives to success
  • Actively monitor inbound sales phone calls, emails and live chat channels for high potential purchasers
  • Help customers through the entire inside sales process, from lead to close
  • Daily planning to maximize sales activities including phone, email, chat
  • Provide timely and accurate response and follow-up with all sales leads
  • Effectively utilize Tonal CRM system to track and monitor personal and lead activity, lead dashboards and reports, call lists and more
  • Prepare and present appropriate sales proposals
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual personal and team sales goals
  • Drive creation of lead qualification system
  • Drive creation of objection handling responses
  • Lead and train your team in effective time and sales pipeline management
 
Who You Are
  • +5 years of inside sales experience
  • +2 years of B2C inside sales experience
  • +2 years of inside sales team leadership/management experience 
  • Experience selling premium B2C products 
  • Deep Salesforce experience
  • Experience working on a distributed teams
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working collaboratively across teams
  • Deep lead qualification and objection handling experience
  • Mastery of time and sales pipeline management
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
