Smule today has 50 million monthly active users creating over 20 million songs every day, and still growing at a fast pace. We’re looking for a seasoned product manager to drive our social product initiatives to further connect and grow this network of people.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive cross-functional teams to develop a deeper understanding of social engagement and identify key opportunities for improvements
  • Develop requirements for new social features, products and services, working with stakeholders and partners across the global business
  • Prioritize social product initiatives and translate them into an executable product roadmap
  • Own and drive product development of social features end-to-end: ideation, design, implementation, launch, retrospective, etc.
  • Closely work with other product managers to form broader product strategy and priorities for the company

About You

  • 3+ years of product management experience in mobile social or UGC products
  • Expert in how social connections form and can be strengthened
  • Deep understanding of community health and long-term user retention
  • Strong quantitative orientation; uses data and metrics to make sound product decisions; experience defining and directing product initiatives based upon quantitative info and qualitative feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and technical people
  • Experience with recommendation algorithms and machine learning highly desired
  • Experience with notifications and CRM a plus
  • Experience with social group/clan/community systems design a plus
