Job Description

The Cover team is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to support our digital paid media, Google AdWords, social, and events strategy as well as support our existing marketing initiatives. 

Reporting to the Head of Growth, the successful applicant is responsible for driving strategy through execution on digital paid channels, with a focus on increasing mobile user acquisition and digital engagement. You will have a desire to improve performance and make data-driven decisions that propel the direction of marketing initiatives. 

In addition, this digital-savvy team member will assist in mobile campaign setup and ongoing delivery of digital campaigns with the goal of expanding our outreach and improving our brand awareness and in-app customer engagement. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work to develop a solid understanding of Cover as a whole, with emphasis on your area of responsibility.
  • Deploy and manage ad campaigns on search engines, display and social media.
  • Responsible for the successful setup of both web and mobile campaigns – including keyword research, campaign creation and audience uploads across a number of platforms
  • Create and manage display, video and remarketing campaigns on platforms such as Google Display Network.
  • Responsible for the successful optimization of all efforts – including reviewing campaign performance, as well optimising based on the continuous feedback.
  • Recommending or implementing improvements to ad copy, display banners and landing pages as needed.
  • Responsible for reporting and trafficking is carried out to the highest standards – as well as delivery of commentary, insights and actions on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis
  • Assist on the overall strategic direction and delivery of campaigns – be it from a consumer, data or performance perspective
  • Determine strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of all projects/ activities, with consideration to potential impacts related to platform updates and algorithm updates.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience optimizing and executing mobile paid search campaigns via Google Adwords, working towards the best solutions and ongoing refinement of campaigns.
  • 1+ years experience creating and managing paid social campaigns across partner channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube ads.
  • 1+ years experience with Google Analytics, Web trends and other Third-party Analytic tools
  • Experienced in developing an A/B testing plan for paid mobile campaigns
  • Experience with broader analytics, including social listening, through platforms like Sysomos or Crimson Hexagon
