Through conceptualization, design, and project management, you’ll help bring the brand to life for IT pros and tech vendors, ensuring our creative is compelling and insightful. You’ll be working on a suite of marketing products including infographics, ebooks, collateral, event signage, and more. Working with a small but mighty team, you’ll oversee creative direction for SpiceWorld, our largest annual event. An energetic, motivated multi-tasker is the ideal candidate for this position.

Your day-to-day (as a Senior Art Director for Brand, you’ll):

  • Be the gatekeeper of the Spiceworks brand, overseeing all materials and aligning them with our identity. Safeguard the brand, ensuring that it stays relevant and improved upon when needed.
  • Work alongside various teams throughout Spiceworks to conceptualize, art direct, and execute both large and small marketing projects. These include large scale event collateral, digital reports, infographics, printed pieces, presentation decks, media, swag, and signage
  • Interpret briefs to create on-brand designs that are functional, compelling, and message driven
  • Manage multiple projects with many dependencies simultaneously
  • Think conceptually and strategically to arrive at creative solutions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently and as part of a team that includes writers, producers, and designers
  • Collaborate with in-house clients to help them realize their vision
  • Work closely with and mentor visual and associate designers, empowering them to create impactful design
  • Bring your expertise and skills to client projects as needed


Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

  • At least 8+ years of professional design experience creating campaigns
  • Event design/production experience: You’ll be helming SpiceWorld, our marquee annual conference, as well as various events throughout the year
  • Exceptional visual design and illustration skills — and an online portfolio to prove it!
  • Strong project management skills
  • Killer communication skills across a wide spectrum of personalities
  • Ability to switch from project leader to contributor, rolling up your sleeves and producing work at the drop of a hat
  • Great attention to detail in design and project management
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay grounded in an ultra fast-paced environment
  • Expert-level Adobe CC skills
  • Ability to mentor designers and a passion for guiding them
  • Experience art directing designers
