What we are looking for?

Boomerang Commerce is looking for a Senior Manager of Demand Generation who is an expert in building and growing digital, field and event-based marketing programs to develop, grow and nurture sales pipeline opportunities. The Senior Manager of Demand Generation is a key role both within the company and within a growing marketing team. This individual will report to the Head of Growth and Customer Marketing and will own all aspects of end-to-end demand generation, working closely with members of the marketing, sales, and data teams.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team to launch and scale a growing business while innovating on and experimenting with new approaches to unlock new opportunities in our target markets.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end marketing programs for your channels including targeting, segmentation, and positioning, and define playbooks to effectively reach our target personas using an ABM approach
  • Drive demand for our products and generate MQLs using multiple channels including email, field events, web, and social with hands-on experience in at least 2 channels and ability and desire to pick up more
  • Independently create educational, awareness driving, and sellable content in relevant formats based on a defined marketing calendar
  • Rapidly innovate and test new approaches and campaigns, formats and channels to more effectively generate awareness and demand
  • Analyze and report progress and results across channels and various stages of the funnel
  • Define, enrich and expand the TAM (total addressable market) and prospect database

 

What you need to succeed

  • 7-10 years experience of proven measurable success as a growth marketer or B2B demand generation expert in a fast-growing best-in-class SaaS companies
  • Strong digital, content and event-based marketing skills, and the ability to be a strong individual contributor and team player
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and scrappy individual who always is looking to find ways to improve marketing effectiveness with a good blend of data-driven and creative thinking
  • Strong bias for action / GSD while being flexible to accommodate the needs of a fast-growing organization
  • Ability to write thoughtful, strategic long- and short-form copy for targeted campaigns
  • Strong oral and verbal communication and positive can-do attitude
  • Hands-on experience in tools such as Salesforce.com, Pardot, Salesloft, Hubspot, and other podcasting and webinar tools (e.g. Adobe, Go-To-Meeting, ON24 etc)
  • Data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, but MBA preferred

 

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Experience hosting podcasts or webinars
  • Experience and success with marketing to CPG and durable goods companies and strong knowledge of Amazon retail is a distinct plus
  • Proven ability to tell compelling stories with PowerPoint
  • Prior experience and success at large and small companies within marketing roles
  • Can write marketing requirement documents
  • Program management (i.e. manage marketing projects end-to-end) capabilities
