Imagine working on a global communication network that’s used by 3.7 billion people and every day more than a quarter trillion messages cross this network. There’s just one problem: Because authentication isn’t built into this platform, nobody can be certain who is sending most of these messages. This gap means that companies are vulnerable to a whole host of attacks on their employees, partners, and customers. Whether it’s wire fraud, W-2 thefts, or “fake news” in an attempt to destroy a brand, companies have been powerless to protect themselves against these impersonation attacks.
Valimail solves this problem. We’ve built a revolutionary platform on top of open standards — DMARC, DKIM, and SPF — that for the first time makes it possible for any organization to protect itself against email impersonation. Valimail pioneered the notion of automated email authentication, with innovative components like our DNS-based Authenticator (including our patented Instant SPF). Our system enables organizations to authenticate their email quickly, easily, and reliably.
We’re committed to building a more trusted email ecosystem. As part of that commitment, we’re active participants in the open source and standards communities. We’re co-authors of open standards like ARC and BIMI, and contribute to a variety of open source projects that serve the wider community.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Customer Success Team who will engage with customers to:
Establish trusted advisor relationships at the highest levels and work to uncover and understand their goals, align on business objectives, and be responsible for developing and implementing account plans to achieve success;Be the single point-of-contact for our most strategic accounts;Effectively work with our Sales, Sales Engineering, Onboarding & Support, and Product teams to provide customers a seamless experience;Advocate internally on behalf of customers’ needs;Take a leading role in identifying and qualifying upsell opportunities by prospecting and developing key relationships within our existing customer base.- Apply your selling and relationship management skills to drive renewals, while also having the ability to foster organic growth within existing accounts- Generate 4x pipeline of qualified opportunities through the use of, but not limited to, proactive outbound call activity, emails, marketing campaigns and hosting quarterly business reviews, regular in-person meetings, and events- Enrich the Valimail experience of our customers through thought leadership and continuous education on how to leverage Valimail to strengthen their email anti-impersonation defense posture.- Utilize sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Marketo and others automation tools.

Experience:5+ years of Account Management or Customer Success background in a SaaS company;Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor to customers;Experience in driving success within your assigned customer accounts;Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills;Clear and articulate communication skills;Ability to command an audience and mastery of follow-up;Exceptional organizational and time management skills;A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals;A firm grasp of how business works, including sales, consultative problem solving, and escalation management skills;The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Bonus if you have a working knowledge of email, email security, and DNS concepts and operations.
