The Hardware/Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for HW/SW Integration Testing, command and telemetry verification, and operational sequencing. This role is for a dynamic, self-starting individual with great attention to detail and excellent people skills. This is a full-time position located at our Huntington Beach, CA facility.

A typical day might include the following:

  • Develop test plans and procedures for hardware/software integration
  • Develop command sequencing and telemetry verification
  • Analyze data from integration testing, and write verification reports
  • Use systems engineering practices to identify reliable cost-saving opportunities in manufacturing and ground/flight operations

This job might be for you if you have these:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or closely related field
  • Experience in hardware/software integration, model based engineering, test, and analysis
  • 2- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering in support of aerospace product development efforts
  • Proficiency in MS Excel Formulas
  • Experience with LabView
  • Approx. 10-25% travel required to our Tucson, AZ facility to support test campaigns and support program reviews is likely
  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed

It would be impressive if you also have these:

  • Familiarity with Hardware/Software Interface Design, Software Development, and Electronics build-outs
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, Octave, or Diadem
  • Familiarity with standards: SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-217, MIL-STD-461
  • Experience with government-funded aerospace development projects
  • Advanced degree in engineering
  • BIG vision to reshape the multi-billion launch market
  • Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to add something unique and positive to our team
