Sr. Manager, Sales Operations at Anaplan

Anaplan is looking for a highly driven and dynamic Sales Operations Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of our Central territory within North Americas business. This includes sales analytics and working with our sales leaders on territories or QBR preparation. This is a unique opportunity to become deeply involved with Anaplan’s Go-to-market strategy and execution structures, and work with a diverse set of teams on our critical business targets (GTM Ops, Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Systems).

The position will be based in our Minneapolis office reporting to the Director of Americas Sales Operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive high priority initiatives including territory optimization, process optimization, forecast modelling
  • Deal with day-to-day queries from Sales, Sales Development, and Channel Partner teams on the CRM system, territories and generic sales operating procedures
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as required
  • Design and execute territory assignments and quota setting processes
  • Manage weekly forecasting process for business partners
  • Documents standard operating processes

You have:

  • 2-5 years of operational experience, with 2+ years in a Sales Operations, Sales Finance in high tech, with a minimum. of 2 years recent SaaS experience.
  • Experience working with both Sales and Finance, with finesse across functions.
  • Attention to detail, and how to develop QA / cross-check all numbers.
  • Salesforce Ninja: complex dashboards & reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows).
  • Anaplan experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel skills (sumifs, index/match and vlookup, table formulas).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You can hold a meeting with directors and VPs.
  • Deep experience modeling complex problems, both conceptually and tactically (spreadsheets, analysis tools, visualization).
  • Endless curiosity and a need to dive deeper for understanding.
