We’re looking for an Events Marketing Specialist adept at creating content and experiences that our users and customers will love. You’ll help bring to life and drive attendees to our signature events in the U.S. and Europe – SpiceWorld and All Access – and work in tandem with our Sales organization to build event pipeline and drive revenue. Your day-to-day (as an Events Marketing Specialist, you’ll):

  • Work with Spiceworks Event Marketing Manager to build a world-class event experience that directly connects attendees and sponsors through compelling content, interactive experiences, and “off the floor” engagements.    
  • Lead pre-sales support processes and work with Sales leadership to build and manage pipeline and achieve revenue targets. 
  • Working with the broader Marketing team, you’ll drive event awareness and demand generation campaigns to accelerate sponsorship bookings and attendee registrations.
  • Deliver a white glove on-site event experience for sponsors and attendees, ensuring all parties have the information and details needed to have a rewarding and productive event.  
  • Help lead post-event debrief processes with internal and external stakeholders, understanding where we can improve, and using that information to plan the following year’s event.


What does it take to do this job?

  • 3-5 years of events-, marketing communications-, or account management-related experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for executing amazing in-person experiences and the skill set to prove it – you can jump from a demand-gen campaign to writing great content to Sales and client conversations without skipping a beat. 
  • Out-of-this-world project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects flawlessly under time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; you’ll be marketing to marketers and IT buyers so top-notch communication is key.
  • Highly motivated, self-starting nature; respond positively to moderate guidance yet capable of and comfortable with independent critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Avid learner who prefers to formulate a hypothesis before asking someone else for the answer.
  • Agility is key -- you can think on your feet and adapt well to a quickly changing environment.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate with a wide array of people.
