The FP&A Analyst/Sr. Analyst position is a highly visible cross-functional role within the company, which will be driving the budget, forecast, month-end close related processes in support of our R&D, G&A and Sales and Marketing team. You will be responsible for providing diligent planning, reporting, aim to always improve the accuracy of your forecasts and the efficiencies of your processes to provide insights to senior management and cross-functional leaders. You will also be responsible for providing ad hoc and recurring analyses as needed; you will also be encouraged to perform independent analyses that will help with your job duties. This position reports to the Head of Strategic Finance.


  • Drive the budget and forecast process with designated business partners. Demonstrate a willingness to understand how they manage their business to identify their goals and drivers to forecast effectively.
  • Prepare month-end variance review with relevant insights for senior management. Investigate variances to understand trends, potential risks and opportunities and make adjustments to the forecast.
  • Work actively with your business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives.
  • Proactively drive ideas for analysis, cost optimization and other efficiencies by presenting analysis to management and actively collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to process improvements, ad hoc analyses and preparation of quarterly Board meeting materials.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
  • BA/BS degree (or other relevant degree) in finance or accounting, or related field
  • Demonstrated team player with ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrated initiative and inquisitive nature
  • Ability to dive into detail, while also keeping the big picture in mind
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience with ERP (e.g. Netsuite) a plus
  • Excel skills required
