About The Role
 
The FP&A Analyst will be reporting to the Director of FP&A and will collaborate with various members of Finance and Accounting team.
The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a doer mentality and a  great attitude. They should have a strong background in analytics, data analysis, quantitative analysis, great eye for detail, and a strong commitment to process improvement.
 
 

Responsibilities

    • Preparing monthly consolidated company forecasts and budgets, tracking them against actual performance
    • Support the team with regular financial reporting, metrics and analysis, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
    • Partner effectively with various functional teams to produce monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts/budgets
    • Provide insight and recommendations by collecting, monitoring and analyzing data, as well as creating financial models for decision support
    • Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; and recommending actions to management
    • On-call coverage as needed to collaborate with Leanplum San Francisco office

Requirements

    • 3-5 years of experience as an analyst in a professional, fast-paced environment
    • A strong background in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Economics is preferred. MBA in Finance preferable
    • Experience building financial tools, models and infrastructure including implementation of financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights
    • Strong analytical and Excel skills are required to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, and metrics
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, formulate conclusions, and present conclusions regarding business issues
    • Ability to develop concise presentation decks to illustrate and communicate compensation related information
