Sales Development Manager at Anaplan

As our Sales Development Manager, you are excited about executing a winning strategy for our Sales Development team. If you also want to join a fast-growing startup, work with friendly people, and play with some cool tech, you found the right place.  Anaplan is looking for an experienced Manager who can help execute on a global strategy on building pipeline for the APAC organization. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the lead in hiring, training, developing, motivating, and coaching our Sales Development Reps.
  • Align with Sales Account Executives, as well as, Sales Leadership to drive pipeline into Net New Accounts.
  • Knowledge of the APAC market space.
  • Establish and enforce SDR processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow through on a scalable training program and materials for new reps. 
  • Ensures continuous improvement of SDR’s by driving key activity and productivity metrics.
  • Build more effective communication and provide insight for the improvement of the Global Sales Development program. 
  • Reports on metrics to measure the performance of the Inside Sales activities and corrects deficiencies where necessary. 
  • Collaborates with marketing and product team on content development and improvement.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Minimum of 5+ years of Inside Sales/Sales Development leadership experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal).
    Demonstrated experience building, managing, growing and developing an inside sales team. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems: Salesforce knowledge is a must.   InsideSales.com proficiency a plus.
  • Adept at introducing, training and enforcing activity metrics.
