To build on Brandcast’s success and growth, we’re looking for a skilled Sales Engineer with Web Content Management and Digital Marketing experience. Ideal candidates will enjoy interfacing with external customers and internal partners alike; and, be excited by the challenges and opportunities inherent to a fast-growing pre-IPO technology company.
 
The Sales Engineer will support sales productivity, partner enablement, proposal development, and customer evaluations by collaborating closely with product and technical teams to highlight the many ways Brandcast solutions meet customer needs.  Love for the creative process and experience with design processes, technologies, and methodologies of any type is a plus.
 
As a Sales Engineer you will report directly to the Director of Sales, who formerly served as the Sales Engineer for 2+ years.  This role affords a broad range of tasks and responsibilities fitting the dynamic nature of a blossoming sales organization. TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work as a collaborative member within our team selling approach
    • Participate in the creation and delivery of technical and functional sales presentations that demonstrate the value of Brandcast in the context of prospective client needs
    • Through coaching, consulting, and technical sales, drive successful sales engagements and ensure sales goals and objectives are achieved
    • Define and present Brandcast implementation architectures and technical capabilities for customers and partners
    • Develop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, product, and marketing
    • Lead technical responses to RFI / RFP, Product Specs, and SOW documentation
    • Support the product team and product roadmap through thoughtful analysis of prospective client needs
    • Provide technical and functional enablement support for clients during their implementation period
    • Support Customer Success with technical expertise as needed 

Technical Requirements

    • Good understanding of the Web Content Management industry
    • Solid understanding of Web development, information architecture and related concepts and technologies
    • Familiarity with standard web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Django, etc.
    • Digital Marketing experience and exposure to marketing automation, multi-channel campaign management, social marketing, A/B testing, email campaign management, SEO, and search technologies
    • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management
    • Experience with analytics platforms
    • Technical/IT education or relevant industry experience
    • Experience in a presales and/or professional services role
    • Good understanding of enterprise Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Sitecore, Wordpress, etc.

    • Superior communication skills; ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
    • Experience in giving presales presentations to all levels of enterprise decision makers
    • Creative; with the ability to synthesize complex business needs into simple, elegant solutions.

    • Ability to work in a collaborative selling environment with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

This position may involve up to 25% travel within the continental US.
