Summary of the Stance Senior Creative Operations Manager:

Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the Creative Operations Manager will be the force behind our creative team to help facilitate the projects that keep our uncommon brand separated from the rest.  You have a passion for keeping things organized, and you take pride in helping projects be delivered efficient and on time.

As the Senior Creative Operations Manager, you will:

  • Manage a large daily volume of projects; estimate time required and resources needed for successful project completion and communicates these needs effectively to manager and team.
  • Responsible for the intake of all requests, scheduling, trafficking and prioritizing of all projects and requests — ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Process project briefs and respond to emails in a timely manner to manage projects according to agreed upon schedules and budget. 
  • Generate timelines for creative team to hand off assets on agreed upon schedule and communicate schedule to all teams. 
  • Review the accuracy and completeness of all requests before processing to the designers, freelancers, etc., and work with requestors to complete/correct information.
  • Own status meetings and reviews maintaining team resourcing and capacity for the team projects in progress; develops meeting agendas according to creative approvals needed to stay on schedule.
  • Prepare weekly reports to manager and each team member to prioritize teams work for the week/day as needed and works closely with all designers and copywriters to alert them on upcoming work.
  • Anticipate when additional freelance help is needed due to increased projects/work flow.
  • Maintain job files, track and monitor job progress, route projects physically and/or virtually as needed.
  • Maintain timetables for new projects, utilizing appropriate software/systems.
  • Align with other cross-functional teams to assure any overlapping projects are designed/reviewed on the same timeline to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Pro-Active: anticipate possible problems and discuss solutions with manager.
  • Communicate status of projects with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Create and manage GTM / Seasonal story master content list for Creative department in partnership with Marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain a clear calendar of seasonal launches with deadlines relating to the Go To Market process
  • Create project plans, including cost, required resources, and milestones
  • Facilitate inter-department post-mortem meetings in order to improve processes moving forward
  • Manage content creation budgets
  • Assist CCO in managing new employee on-boarding and assist in scheduling interviews during the hiring process.
  • Continually look to improve and streamline project management software usage, visible job board updates, and pitch changes when appropriate.
  • Assist with photoshoot production needs including organizing castings, location permits and production crew.

We are looking for somebody with the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years project management experience preferably from a creative background such as a creative agency or a mid to large size apparel brand
  • Strong organizational and time management skills — must be able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail.

The Senior Creative Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the following teams:

  • Marketing team & Social Media Teams– To help assure campaign and seasonal assets are delivered on time
  • DTC – To ensure campaigns and brand storytelling are seamless across all mediums
  • Sales team – To facilitate creative projects related to wholesale accounts
  • International – To ensure external teams have assets they need and stories are receiving appropriate amount of content for their market
