About you….
We are looking for an experienced, talented and passionate Product Manager to join our team in delivering an history-defining consumer service. To succeed you will need to be an outstanding communicator, passionate about the role of technology in society, and knowledgeable about customer experience and satisfaction. The ability to utilize insights quickly and effectively and work fluently in a flat, fast-moving organisation are essential skills.
You will work in an iterative and goal-oriented manner in a cross-functional team environment using modern analysis, product development and success tracking methodologies - with a focus on rapid execution, adaptive learning. All the while bringing world-class product sensibilities to the table and striving for business impact.
 

Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Define the strategy, production, and implementation of a specific product offering
    • Execute rapid research and develop strong product assumptions that drive tactical and strategic product decisions
    • Generate and gather insights that provide rocket fuel for winning value propositions and product definitions
    • Drive fast-paced quality decision-making into our development, launch and growth initiatives
    • Work cross functionally with business development, engineering, design, data analytics and operations towards specific goals that are valuable to the business
    • Structure and clearly explain the trade-offs related to choices, as well as set timetables for execution
    • Lead in the creation of critical success factors and drive them into the product acceptance criteria - tracking rigorously all product outcomes
    • Communicate results to the broader team and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
    • Directly participate in the ongoing refinement and renewal of our company and product strategies, roadmaps, and executional product backlogs

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 7+ years experience in hands-on technical product management and development
    • A solid understanding of marketplace principles and dynamics
    • Experience working with merchant-facing services and systems
    • Full product cycle experience from conception through to launch and growth cycles
    • Proven ability to collaborate across cultures, geographical areas and cross functional teams
    • Excellent working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
    • Ability to facilitate senior team sessions and ask, as well as answer, meaningful and impactful questions
    • Outstanding communication and influencing skills
    • Proven ability to be resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic business context and is comfortable working with uncertainty
    • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
    • B.A/B.S. in Computer Science, Product Design, Business Management, Human Computer Interaction, Marketing is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

    • MA/MSc/MBA in Computer Science, Product Design, Business Management, Human Computer Interaction, Marketing
    • Demonstrated understanding of order fulfilment processes, CMS systems and financial reporting
    • Previous experience in an externally funded technology Startup

Job specifics:

    • Full time contract
    • Location is Helsinki, Finland (with relocation support)
