By joining Atrium’s Content and Marketing Communications team, you will be given a unique and exciting opportunity to define our MarComms, PR, and Community strategy. With a small but impactful marketing team, you will have the opportunity to provide critical input into our brand, voice, and external comms strategy.
 
We have a hungry and engaged community of founders and also have developed a well-respected brand through our content (blog, bylines, press, social). Now we need someone to help us act on the growing interest the market has in Atrium, as well as foster and nurture the community we’re building.
 
This role will work closely with all of the marketing team, as well as all of our executives (including Justin Kan) and our attorneys to further expose the great thought leaders and expertise we have internally.

What would you be doing?

    • Manage our social channels and develop our voice per channel and strategy
    • Write (announcements, bylines, & press articles) and contribute to our style guide
    • Identify articles and recognition opportunities for Atrium but also our individual SMEs (bylines, PR, awards, and speaking opportunities)
    • Proactively identify and manage contribution to conversations happening off of Atrium.co 
    • Community building - not managing the technology per se but facilitating the conversations and maintaining engagement
    • Build and foster relationships with press, VCs, partners, and customers
    • Proactively manage our community of founders and help create a network of executives at high-growth companies who are brand ambassadors for Atrium

What does success look like for this role?

    • 4+ years experience in community building, PR and/or MarComms
    • Past experience managing a company’s social and external comms
    • Marketing experience in a high-growth venture-backed startup highly preferred
    • Ability to write and pitch Atrium’s uniqueness to drum up external interest
    • Excellent communication skills; you are well-poised and have the ability to manage executives and communicate with press, partners, or VCs
    • Strong track record of accountability, work ethic, and integrity to meet aggressive goals; you have a strong sense of urgency and ownership
