Nextdoor is on the lookout for a top-notch Contracts and Legal Operations Manager to provide support to the Legal team by managing company contracts and owning day-to-day legal operations.   • Oversee the company’s contracts and contract management system
  • Template review, maintenance and administration
  • Develop and manage a process for tracking contract expirations, renewals, terminations, and other key terms
  • Conduct legal and factual research
  • Prepare, draft, and process contracts (IOs, NDAs, vendor agreements, etc.) and other legal documents
  • Review ancillary agreements, including statements of work, side letters, purchase orders, and terms and conditions
  • Assist with creation, management, maintenance and administration of training materials for business stakeholders
  • Manage legal billing software and billing guidelines, and communicate with outside counsel on billing matters
  • Program management of regulatory inquiries requiring commercial legal support
  • Develop playbooks and other related supporting materials to enable consistent and efficient transactions
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees across the company and with outside counsel and other vendors


  • University Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years prior experience managing contracts and legal operations
  • A master time manager who is extremely, impressively organized and detail-oriented
  • An A+ communicator
  • A multi-tasker who is able to prioritize tasks and remain productive while balancing multiple projects
  • Super serious about your work (without taking yourself too seriously)
  • Experience with NDA drafting, negotiation, management and administration (experience supporting this function either in or for a technology company)
  • Experience on an in-house legal team working directly with product or other technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience working with web, app, technology, social networking or internet companies preferred
  • Experience with Ad Tech preferred
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
