Cover is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Specialist to support our current and future growth. This role encompasses both large and small needs of the business. You will be expected to interact with employees within all levels of the organization and perform operational and strategic tasks within the sales function.

Job Duties:

  • Be the expert on Cover’s sales process. Provide training and leadership regarding executing Cover’s sales process and methodology, supporting new sales hires as well as tenured reps in their ability to navigate closing deals at Cover
  • Ensure sales process design and corresponding system configurations are best in class and are continuously adapting to the sales environment
  • Serve as a liaison to groups such as sales, product, marketing and engineering to ensure everyone is aligned and understands evolution in our sales process
  • Own sales forecasting process based on input from department leaders
  • Own sales compensation tracking and submission, inclusive of creating incentive plans and measuring effectiveness of them
  • Act as salesforce administrative support including creation and management of roles, profiles, users, views and more
  • Optimize the sales rep, manager, and sales ops experience in Salesforce or Periscope by developing formal reporting views for sales effectiveness and productivity.


 

Ideally, you’ll

  • Have 2+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy and Operations in a high-growth tech startup
  • Be highly organized and take a pragmatic approach to solving difficult problems
  • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce and technically savvy for other data systems (Salesforce certification preferred but not required)
  • Have familiarity with SQL and data query/visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Periscope) and a strong analytical skill set.  You love data, gaining insights from data, and making decisions based on data
  • Have experience discovering and mapping sales tools to the process to streamline and automate as much as possible
  • Possess a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
