Cover is growing quickly into new products and new territories, and we need to scale our team of Inside Sales Agents and Customer Service Reps to maintain our exceptional level of customer service.  You will lead the way in identifying high potential sales talent that can keep up with our growth. As the lead sales recruiter, you will be responsible for finding, engaging, and hiring exceptional sales talent for our team.  

As a Lead Sales Recruiter, you will:

  • Fully own and manage end-to-end recruiting pipelines for all levels of sales talent
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define hiring requirements and goals
  • Work with senior management to establish long term hiring strategy
  • Be an effective ambassador for Cover at recruiting events
  • Develop and refine candidate screening and interview process
  • As needed, assist with recruiting for product, engineering, and operations roles


  • 3+ years of experience of fast-paced, high-volume sales recruiting
  • A self-starter who has the ability to prioritize multiple competing projects
  • Ability to work cross functionally with multiple business units
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice to Have:

  • Basic understanding of the insurance industry
  • Worked at or founded a startup (i.e. built something)
  • Technically savvy and up to date all technology trends and developments
