Data Analyst- Operations/Patient Care at The Pill Club

Seeking an experienced Data Analyst to partner with our Patient Care organization. You will dive deep into complex data sets specific to customer service tasks, identifying actionable insights that will drive operational changes. The analyses you create will help drive revenue, margin and patient retention. To be successful in this role, you will need to define and produce metrics/dashboards for Patient Care teams, execute data extraction and transformation directly on big data systems, and develop analyses to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities:

    • Understand what drives the Patient Care team’s success.
    • Align the team’s KPI’s to key metrics and build dashboards and comprehensive reports to track those metrics
    • Perform data extraction and transformation to get the data ready for deep dive analysis
    • Execute deep-dive analyses addressing key business issues and present findings to the Patient Care leadership team and other stakeholders
    • Support the team in identifying process improvement opportunities; build custom reports to support these initiatives
    • Collaborate with the Patient Care leadership team to surface business questions; create and test hypotheses using complex, multi-source data
    • Demonstrate great judgment in quickly forming actionable, data-driven conclusions in the face of uncertainty
    • Proactively make recommendations for new initiatives to improve key metrics and customer outcomes
    • Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
    • Play an active role in strategic & operational planning discussions

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analysis role ideally in the customer service space
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL and data extraction techniques
    • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
    • Knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts for data analysis
    • Ability to dive deeply into data integrity issues
    • Experience using Tableau and other dash boarding tools

Desirable Qualifications:

    • Experience extracting and cleansing data using SQL
    • Eager to learn and employ new technologies to achieve faster and better results
    • Ability to take loosely defined business questions and translate them into clearly defined technical/data specifications
    • Experience with BI / data visualization tools
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
    • Experience /knowledge of the pharmacy or PBM space
    • Experience with Amazon Connect
