Overview
Tonal is looking for a creative, organized professional to help all aspects of our video production workflow function smoothly. Creating new systems to manage pre-production, studio/field production, and post-production, you will be the point person on all aspects of production operations.
 
You will work on a creative and growing video production team, focused on inventing a brand new form of production. We’re a “full stack” video team with studio production, editors and producers all in-house at our San Francisco HQ. We focus on innovation, organization and extremely high quality, stretching what we’re doing creatively while being extremely detail oriented along the way.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for all aspects of production planning, working with producers and directors to prepare and execute a variety of creative visions
  • Manage all details of ongoing studio production
  • Line produce field shoots when needed
  • Create and oversee post-production workflows, helping editors create effective media management
  • Manage talent and freelance shooter booking schedules
  • Enforce due dates for creative assets
  • Create call sheets and budgets
  • Ensure productions stay on schedule and on budget

Who You Are
  • At least 5 years of production management experience
  • Experience in various production environments, from small to large
  • Extremely organized, a passion for the details and keeping everything running smoothly
  • Up to date on all the latest production management tools
  • Experience communicating with and coordinating talent
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep a cool head, fostering a positive creative environment
  • Can work independently (self-starting) and within a team
  • Experience with or interest in learning Project Management tools (Jira) 
  • Experience with or interest in Program Management teams
