Head of Programmatic Sales at ZEFR

ZEFR is Hiring!  ZEFR is seeking a Head of Programmatic Sales to lead a newly created sales team and drive adoption of our brand new programmatic solution in market.

This is an exciting opportunity to build, manage and aggressively grow programmatic revenue as well as have a tremendous impact on the overall growth of the company as the business scales. ZEFR offers national advertisers a compelling portfolio of innovative, social video solutions and the opportunity to understand, engage and target its most brand loyal consumers. You will help define ZEFR’s product roadmap to meet client needs, while building deep, strategic relationships with the world’s largest advertisers.

The ideal candidate has established relationships with senior-level decision makers at trading desks, holding companies and brands at a national level. You have a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape and ad-tech ecosystem, as well as how agencies plan and buy programmatic campaigns.


Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Build, manage and scale ZEFR’s programmatic sales team globally and play a critical role in taking this business to the next level
  • Hire and recruit top talent to drive adoption of ZEFR’s programmatic solutions within agencies and brands
  • Forge and manage senior-level relationships at agencies and trading desks
  • Work closely with both the customer success and product teams to streamline programmatic operations, develop processes and build best-in-class programmatic capabilities
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to ensure programmatic sales is in lock-step with managed media sellers
  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasting, sales planning and strategy to C-level executives
  • Represent ZEFR in the industry at relevant conferences and organizations to increase brand awareness and drive new leads and client engagements

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with focus on the programmatic ecosystem, with at least 3 years in management
  • Strong track record of leading high performing teams
  • Experience in hiring, coaching and developing team members
  • Proven relationships with agency trading desks, programmatic decision makers, and inhouse programmatic clients
  • Provide innovative sales development strategies to increase sales performance
  • Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for taking new products to market and building multi-million dollar businesses
  • Strategic guidance on changes within the programmatic landscape to inform the way we evolve our approach in market
