Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Sr. Response Manager to join our team in London. The perfect candidate is an expert in video, display and social advertising and uses them to improve awareness and engagement around key marketing initiatives. You bring a passion for driving results, coupled with strong analytical skills & an ambition to win. This role reports to the Head of Performance Marketing.

What you'll do:

  • Channel Management

    • Managing video, display and social advertising campaigns, including creative, targeting and budget management.
    • Driving Zwift’s video + paid social media strategy and planning, optimization and measurement, in sync with Zwift’s marketing initiatives such as world expansions, esports events, and others
    • Identifying and delivering new tech and structural solutions that drive business growth
    • Delivering on complex work streams and initiatives, integrating with other marketing initiatives, building out internal procedures, policies and tutorials as needed
    • Monitoring market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
  • Channel Strategy

    • Following the latest developments and trends in the programmatic space and develop POVs on where the industry is moving
    • Shaping and iterating Zwift’s display and video buying strategy across several geographies, target segments and sports (cycling, running, tri).
    • Implementing and iterating the right DSPs for Zwift (e.g. Google AV 360, Appnexus, Trade Desk, Media Math, Amobee, etc).
  • KPI & Dashboards

    • Responsible for in-depth reporting that will be shared across teams within the company
  • Collaboration

    • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and ensure assets are delivered to brief and on time
    • Understanding the interconnections of mid funnel activity with the rest of Zwift’s marketing initiatives
    • Partnering with Social Media team to drive Paid Media best practice
    • Being Zwift’s ambassador for programmatic display through clear, concise communication and deep understanding of the industry.
    • Close collaboration with Content, Design, Dev and Product teams to ensure continued partnership success.
    • Collaborating internally with marketing, analytics, and operations teams to ensure strategy, measurement, and reporting requirements are met
  • Management

    • Managing our current agency through the transition of in-housing.
    • Managing Zwift’s Google & Facebook relationship with the Head of Performance Marketing.
    • Managing a team of 1-2 in the near term and potentially more in the future.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of deep experience in video, display and social media buying & ad operations either client or agency side, with proven ability to drive performance.
  • Experience in programmatic and traditional media buying tactics.
  • Experience in new coordinated digital marketing campaigns with a focus on big reach such as product launches, events, etc...
  • Solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape, and where display fits within it.
  • Adaptable and fast learner, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tough goals and tight deadlines.
  • Experience in fast-moving, dynamic environments with changing priorities and aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience working in a global start-up environment is a big plus.
  • Truly outstanding quantitative analysis skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and AV360. GA 360 knowledge is a big plus.
  • Create rigorous testing strategy so that we are always learning and finding new wins.
  • Fluent English skills required, additional European or Asian languages (in particular French, German, Chinese and Japanese) are a plus.
  • Strong academic track record. Ideally with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related course of study.
