Atrium Fundraising Concierge is a business advisory practice that works with venture-backed startups to supercharge their fundraising efforts. We have seasoned entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in-house that help clients refine their pitch, improve their due diligence, and meet investors. Our Fundraise Concierge group is growing rapidly and the interest in our services is strong and increasing. Our startups raise more money from the right investors and at better valuations because of the strategic approach that we take with them.  It is up to us to deliver on this value.
As an Investment Analyst for Fundraise Concierge, you will get a chance to meet, interact with, and learn about hundreds of fast growing startups looking to raise their Series A and B across a variety of industry verticals. There are few opportunities that allow you to be at the intersection of startup founders and venture capital - this is one of those.
You will get in-depth fundraising experience with the clients that we work with by being an integral part of the entire process. You will continue to refine your analytical and communication skills by assisting with financial analysis, financial modeling, narrative preparation, due diligence, strategic negotiations, project management, research, and more. Your work will not only be a huge driver for growth and expansion for Atrium, but will also be critical for the startups we work with.  

What would you be doing?

    • Source and evaluate prospective companies for Fundraise Concierge while also delivering value to them
    • Cultivate a network of subject matter experts to help us expand our practice in key verticals
    • Ad hoc research - business and technology research on markets, companies, trends, etc.
    • Financial model creation and analysis
    • Review historical financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cashflow statements) and KPIs/metrics to derive key findings

What does success look like in this role?

    • 2-6 years of experience as an investment analyst or in a related role; experience as an investment banker, consultant, or financial analyst at a major financial institution preferred
    • Strong finance and accounting acumen with experience building and analyzing financial models
    • Passion for startup ecosystem and client service, including an ability and drive to deliver superior customer service
    • Excellent communication skills; you are well-poised and have the ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with founders, partners and VCs
    • Experience at startups and/or VC firms a plus
